Over the last ten years, many of the the top students receiving scholarships and attending the Mel Brown Summer Jazz Workshop, University of Oregon Jazz Camp, The Stanford Jazz Camp, The Port Townsend Jazz Camp, and Oregon State Jazz Camp at Twin Rocks have used these weekly summer jazz clinics to build skills, better their experience at those competitive environments and earn scholarships. In addition, these weekly classes are perfect for preparing to audition in the fall for the jazz band at your school.

Biography
As one of the Northwest's busiest saxophonists, it's Clark Bondy's versatility that deserves attention. Though working as a band-leader and soloist in an array of concerts, studio sessions, private engagements, clubs, and churches, Clark is much in demand as a private studio instructor, clinician and guest artist. He has performed throughout North America for scores of events, with international recording artists as member of the house band for the television show NightLight, Saxman for the Shanghai Woolies, and freelance session musician on hundreds of commercial and published recordings.
He directs the award-winning Whiskey Hill Jr. High Jazz Club, instrumental music at Damascus Christian School (1992-2006), Central Catholic High School (1998-2002), and administrates the music classes and bands at the Phonics Phactory Christian School in Gresham. Clark serves on the woodwind faculties of Northwest colleges and Music Schools. He has also worked as an Associate Pastor of Music and Youth with a degree in education.
Mr. Bondy's students are perennial outstanding soloists at regional jazz festivals, finalists at district and state solo competitions, and performers in honor ensembles like the International Grammy Jazz Band, All-Northwest & All-State Jazz Bands, Portland Youth Philharmonic, and the Metropolitan Youth Symphony. In addition, many have gone on to pursue careers in music winning scholarships to universities in a dozen states, and to conservatories such as Wheaton, Berklee, New England,and Paris.
